Renovated to a high standard, this micropub has the feel of a traditional 'station' bar and tea shop. An attractively decorated interior, with local railway ephemera and artefacts adorning the walls, the pub takes nearby Long Eaton railway station's former name. It has up to six gravity-dispensed cask beers on offer. A popular local, its proximity to the railway station also makes it handy for commuters. Bar snacks and hot drinks are available throughout the day.

On bank holiday Mondays the pub opens from 12-9. Historic interest - This building was originally a 3-floor branch of Midland Bank. In the 1940s the top floor (a flat) was removed. In the early 1960s it was subject to an armed robbery which was feature on regional television. In the 1970s the exterior walls were rendered and painted (as seen today). Subsequently, the building was used as a sandwich shop, then as an off-licence, before several years disuse when converted to a micropub.
