Nestled in the corner of the historic Market Square, a traditional looking pub with plenty of character. Now under the same ownership as the neighbouring George it is planned to return the Nelson to its previous status as one of the premier pubs in Oakham. Change of lessee in December 2025. Initially four cask ales are available with the prospect of real cider in the near future. Serves regular and changing real ales along with several craft offerings and local gins. Children and dogs are welcome.
