After a change of ownership in 2022 this former coaching inn is in the the early phases of complete renovation and refurbishment and has completed re-branding to its's former name of The George Inn. The first phase of internal refurbishment has taken place in the bar, lounge and restaurant areas providing a very welcoming, stylish yet relaxed ambience and there are exciting plans ahead. Currently just one regularly changing real ale available varying from Fullers London Pride, Theakston's Best Bitter and other mainstream cask ales but there are plans to expand the range in the future.
