A very friendly, recently refurbished, old fashioned drinking establishment. Situated to the west of the town centre this pub is a real survivor with pub fixtures and fittings providing character of a previous era. Inclined Plane from nearby Langton Brewery on handpull with at least two regularly changing guest ales. Several different seating areas and a pool table in a separate area. Having a large wide screen television the pub can be extremely busy when rugby and football tournaments are in progress. Participates in the Uppingham Town Beer Festival.
