Stone-built pub situated close to the church and within walking distance of the village railway station. It was once two cottages, but then converted into a combined pub and butchers shop, hence the name. The butcher has now moved next door, leaving an attractive low beamed pub with inglenook fireplaces in both the bar and lounge. Hook Norton Community Pub Award Winner 2023
