See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Reopened by Castle Rock Brewery under its original name in September 2017, now a smart and modern pub. The former two-room layout has been opened up into a single L-shaped space with two raised areas on either side of the front door. Capacity of 200. A high ceiling and large windows give the front part of the building a very airy feel whilst the plain wooden floor creates a crisp neatness to the decor. The old Banks's "Peggers" pub sign hangs above the elongated S-shaped bar and serving area. 8 hand-pulled ales, 4 from Castle Rock, with another 14 rotating keg lines and 5 cider lines. Participates in Nottingham CAMRA's seasonal Stout & Porter Stroll, Mild in May and IPA Hop beer trails. The Fox & Grapes champions local produce and serves Sneinton-made Stewarts coffee and Redsmith Gin and offers a discount to local businesses. Popular with home football and ice hockey fans and as a meeting places for events held at the nearby Nottingham Arena. Occasional live music has included cricketer Graeme Swann's band "Dr. Comfort & the Lurid Revelations". Used for meetings of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
