Situated on the main Derby Road, a few minutes from the City Centre, this micro pub was opened in February 2016. Originally run by local brewery Scribblers Ales, it has undergone a number of changes in name and ownership and from August 2026 it is now being run by the team from Mangata and re-named as simply The Mist. Long and narrow, the pub has a bar to the rear sporting four handpumps with seating on either side between door and bar. The basement venue hosts regular live music events.
