See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

Former primitive Methodist chapel founded in 1840, that has long been converted into the village's only pub. In 2012 there were real fears that it would be closed and it had become very run down. However, it was purchased by a consortium of 40 local residents who raised £400,000 to buy and renovate it. It is now a superb large and comfortable village inn with a typical country pub bar and separate lounge / restaurant in what had previously been the chapel. Dogs welcome but not in the Chapel Restaurant. Mon - Fri 3 - 5.30 Happy Hour on selected drinks. Pie & Pint Wednesdays, Fizz Fridays. Quiz night Sunday 6pm.
