Pleasant and popular, cask beer led village pub with a smart 1920s-style décor. Originally the Cliffe Inn, following a major refurbishment in 2006 it became The Horse Chestnut and in 2015 simply The Chestnut. Re-opened in September 2026 under new ownership with four real ales and a wide range of wines and spirits.
