This wattle and daub Tudor style house dates from 1737 and is situated 200 yards from the town centre. Inside, there are two rooms linked by a central bar which house an eclectic mix of seating, including wooden settles. The pub has sports TV although at most times, conversation reigns. The spacious rear garden includes ample seating and there is also an outside bar with two ale lines - which is available for events.
