A Greene King pub originally built as a roadside inn in 1758, and extended in 1889. It has recently undergone a refit to become a Real Ale pub with dining area. The Cabin to the rear offers a function room for private events and was extensively refurbished in 2016 and is reputed to have connections to the RAF. The upstairs room has the pool table and darts.
