Winner of Newark CAMRA Pub of the Year Award 2008-9, The Crown at Bathley is everything a village pub should be, picture postcard pretty, friendly and welcoming, the centre of the local community, a source of good food and most importantly, cask ale. As Bathley doesn’t have a hall of any sort, the Crown stands in for family parties, christenings and funeral wakes as well as Parish Council meetings. Lovely fire in winter. Hot food is served and is good quality pub grub available evenings and Sunday afternoon.
