The Castle Barge was a Spillers grain barge plying its trade between Hull and Gainsborough. Situated on the River Trent at the Town Wharf in the centre of Newark it was converted into a public house in 1980. Children are allowed on the top deck and there is an outdoor drinking area adjacent to the barge.
