Built about 1850 as the Railway Hotel, the name changed to the Anglers in 1895. Now a family-run community local, it is home to various sports and pub games teams. Old pictures of the village decorate the lounge bar. An outside area, partly covered, includes a boules court, and hosts street food occasionally.
