See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

A great welcome and good food await at this 17th century pub close to Ashby de la Zouch, and just off the M42. Handy for visitors to the National Forest and walkers exploring the surrounding countryside.

The name commemorates the alliance of the Hastings and Abney families and reflects the heraldic symbols of both. It is reputed to be the only pub with this name in the UK, and possibly the World.

Breakfasts are served from 9 o'clock. Alcohol refreshment is not available until after 11.00. Sunday has traditional Sunday lunches and a kids menu.
