Traditional three-room pub comprising a quiet, traditionally styled lounge and a lively bar with a jukebox. A constantly changing range of guest beers, usually including one dark beer. Real cider, perry, a wide range of continental bottled and draft beers and a good choice of malt whiskies plus country wines are also available. Upstairs is the Hop Loft function room and first floor outside terrace.

During the summer food times are reduced, but a wide ranging menu of home cooked food is always available. Thursday: Mauritian Curry Night (every second Thursday of the month,5-9) - Booking only. Mexican Night (every last Thursday of the month, 5-10).
