See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Characteristic of many Welland Valley properties, the front elevation of this Grade II listed building is built of local red sandstone, probably quarried from the nearby Stoke Dry quarries, whereas strangely enough, the rear elevation is red brick. The three former rooms across the frontage are now knocked through to form one large room in uncompromising modern decor. At the rear is an attractive modern patio, part paved, part gravel-floored, with its own servery incorporating a pizza oven. There are a few picnic tables alongside the pavement in front of the pub.
