A former coaching inn situated within Anstey Conservation area and described by the local authority as a "Key Unlisted Building". The Old Hare & Hounds is a village pub of traditional character, consisting of a small bar on the right and a bar-lobby to the left opened out into a former smoke room, with a separate dining room off. Behind the front bars is a lounge area at a higher level. Out the back is a yard furnished with picnic tables. Normally six real ales are available from Marston's group breweries.
