See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Under the Jackson family ownership, this traditional village pub had a rabbit-warrenesque interior with no less than six diverse individual adjoining bars, snugs and a dining area. Following the purchase by Hoskins Brewery in 1988, and later when acquired by Banks's of Wolverhampton, the pub was much extended and modernised. The interior is now dominated by a modern rear extension overlooking the large enclosed lawned garden with paved areas and open-sided octagonal summer-houses, picnic tables and garden furniture. Two attractive small rooms at the front of the pub give a hint towards the former character. A full food menu is available all day, and the pub is reliable for Pedigree and other ales produced by Marston's breweries.
