The clubhouse is open to everyone, including non-golfers. It consists of an enormous lounge bar, which has large windows offering picturesque panoramic views of the golf course and across countryside with the Gumley & Laughton Hills on the horizon. Part of the lounge can be sectioned off with folding doors to accommodate functions etc.. A small quite room off of the lounge has all the characteristics of a cosy snug. The 19th hole is another bar reminiscent of a public bar, with a pool table, sports television and a retro ambience created by pseudo exposed ceiling joists and old-style timber frame & infill construction walls. The golf club was originally inaugurated in 1905, on land adjacent to Wistow Lane, before relocating to its present position in 1961. The 18 hole, par 71 golf course, is lined with mature native trees and a meandering stream crosses eight holes on its way to be a contributory of The Langton Brook. Practice facilities include a 300 yard grass driving range and a putting green adjacent to the lounge bar.
