The clubhouse is open to all, and consists of the Main Lounge and Lakeview Restaurant, which doubles as a Function Room. Both the lounge and restaurant offer views across the course, and there is a decked patio in front. The bar to the rear of the clubhouse is known as 19th Bar, and this is restricted to club members only. Morland Old Golden Hen is the regular beer, but there are occasional substitutes with another ale.

This golf club has existed since 1893 and is said to offer a serious but fair challenge to golfers of all abilities. Golfing amenities include practice facilities, with a covered driving range, a short game area with chipping and putting greens and a well-stocked professional's shop.
