Admission is available to club members, member’s guests and ACC (Association of Conservative Clubs) affiliated members. The club was founded in 1977 in a converted 19th century farm-house. The ground floor comprises of: a bar with a cottagey ambience enhanced by its exposed ceiling beams and joist plus a red brick arched fireplace set in what was once clearly an inglenook fireplace, a concert/function room, the Tom Ratcliffe Lounge named after the former farmer and the Jim Buxton’s Room which is a skittles table room named after a former skittles playing club member. On the first floor are: a snooker room, a pool room and the Conservative constituency MP’s office. Good value filled cobs are available at lunchtimes.
