Situated at the periphery of Markfield Conservation area this establishment is now reputedly the oldest enduring pub in the village. It’s a traditional two roomed locals’ hostelry, consisting of a public bar with a pool table and a smaller intimate lounge bar displaying old photos of the village. Out the back is a large partially covered tarmacadamed courtyard furnished with picnic tables.
