Following a disastrous fire on 6 September 2019, the pub was entirely demolished, then rebuilt and reopened in September 2020. Built by Marstons in about 2012, a typical modern family-friendly pub-diner located in an area of business uses and a retirement village, about 1.7km east of the town centre. The large L-shaped interior is in unfussy modern decor, and there is background pop musak to entertain. Food is available all day. There is a wide choice of meals, covering pub classics, steak and burgers and special items for dogs. Garden and patio areas around, and there are kids' play areas inside and outside.
