17th century, thatched timber-frame construction with 19th and 20th century extensions. Consisting of a public bar in the oldest region, refurbished lounge bar and restaurant in the newer sector, while across the yard is a skittles long alley which doubles as a function room. Exposed ceiling timbers and genuine leaded light windows combine to create an oldie worldie ambiance.
