End-on to the street, the pub has the appearance of a row of stone cottages. The front entrance leads into a cosy lounge and dining room, extended into a narrow conservatory at the front. From the lounge is a staircase leading to a restaurant/function room on the first floor. To the rear of this is a separate entrance into the public bar, which has a low beamed ceiling. The rear part of the range of buildings is thatched, and across the car park entrance is a row of old outbuildings. The pub is popular for food.
There are a few picnic tables around the pub at the side and rear; the car park is at the back; then beyond this is a garden area with picnic tables, a play area with swings, and a central petanque pitch.
