See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site
The pub name Red Lion, one of the most common in England is frequently found hereabouts because it was an heraldic emblem of the 14th century John of Gaunt, Earl of Lancaster and Lord of the Manor at nearby Bolingbroke Castle. The pub has one larger open plan room, with a small separate dining and function room. The owners are very keen on live music, with regular events shown on their Facebook page.
