See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

A former Hardy & Hanson pub now a free house. Originally the home of the Shiny brewery who have since moved to Little Eaton. The small brewing plant is retained and now produces the Furnace beers. A friendly atmosphere and well looked after beer at a reasonable price. There are eight real ale hand pulls and a constantly changing choice of real ales. They also have interesting craft keg beers sourced from around the country. Darts & Dominoes are available. It also has a large beer garden to the rear.
