The White Horse was completely refurbished in 2016 and will appeal to a wide range of drinkers. On one of the arms of the large L-shaped bar there is raised semi-circular banquette seating, elsewhere there are separate tables and chairs. The interior has a 1960s and 1970s theme with many music related items dotted around the walls. This is further emphasised by a mod theme and there are even bits of scooters around the place. A chopper bicycle can be found hanging up behind the bar. There are sports screens and a juke box, but these do not dominate. There is a seating area on the pavement outside where drinkers can watch the comings and goings of the Derby Courthouse. A private garden at the rear has shelter from the elements and it's own set of screens and speakers. The food menu has the usual pub favourites. Karaoke is provided Thursday to Monday nights, there is live music every Friday and Saturday, followed by Karaoke and Disco. The White Horse is back to its old name and is proud to serve real ale; the heraldic 'horse rampant' above the main entrance, is well content.
