A very square bold front greets the drinker. The building stands back from the road with white painted brickwork. There is roadside seating to the front and a small patio and beer garden to the side. The interior has been opened up into a single U-shaped room with a stair-well to the private area cutting the two sides. The bar on the right along the side wall. The regular Pedigree is joined by two other beers from the Marston's range, often Hobgoblin or Sunbeam. To the rear of the building is a passageway that leads to the large function room, which is home to their Folk and Acoustic Club every Tuesday evening.
