A traditional fronted pub set back front the neighbouring buildings along Sadlergate. The pub floor is noticeably higher than Sadlergate and the interior consists of three rooms separated in height. The décor is very contemporary wooden through giving the pub a subtle relaxing ambiance. The bar is situated in the front room. The pub was the subject of a £385,000 refurbishment after lying closed since 2020 and opened under new management in September 2023. There is now a Scandinavian style garden at the back. Food is now a feature of the pub, offering American style food covering pizzas, smoked meat and gourmet burgers.
