The public bar within this Grade II-listed Georgian House Hotel serves a good selection of real ales, including many from the Mr Grundy's brewery. Named after a WW1 veteran, the theme is used in the naming of the beers. The main bar stretches along one side of the main building and feature a lot of dark wood panelling complimented by breweriana, film memorabilia, an unusual collection of hats and an old red telephone box. Outdoors is a large covered area and beer garden. The separated front room provides very comfortable seating.
