See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

The Alexandra Hotel was named after the Danish princess who married the Prince of Wales (later Edward VII) in 1863. This former Shipstones house is now with Castle Rock. A plaque in the lounge commemorates the birthplace of Derby CAMRA in 1974. The bar features an eclectic mix of railway memorabilia, and outside, a class 37 locomotive cab resides in the car park. The pub is very popular on football match days and is a short five minute walk from the train station. Covid Info: Details taken on entry. Table service only - laminated list of available beers provided.
