Now a free house and a self-styled beer emporium, this is a compact backstreet local serving excellent beer in two drinking areas either side of a central bar. The real ales are complemented by an extensive range of continental and craft beers on draught and in bottles, all displayed on a very descriptive chalk board. Also a music venue with live music every weekend, along with Jam night on a Tuesday and Open Mic in a Sunday. Voted Chesterfield CAMRA Pub of the Year and Town Pub of the year 2020.
