A roadside pub with the name dating back to at least 1804. Central entrance provides access to the bar on the left and the lounge on the right, both served by a central bar. Outside the covered smoking area is separated from the grassed seating area by an old stable block. There is a quiz on Monday evening, dominoes are played on Wednesday evening and on the first Thursday of the month there is a jam/open mic night. Refurbished in November 2017 and now run by the Roebuck Brewery.
