This former Sergeants Brewery tap, built in the 1700s, is now in its sixth year since reopening after restoration [2009]. Retaining original features, it is simply furnished with warming open fires in most rooms lit in winter. Recently [2017] extended to provide two extra rooms. Main outlet for Lincolnshire Craft Beers. The four guest beers are supplemented by draught Weston's Old Rosie and customer requests. There are up to eight craft and continental beers on tap alongside a good selection of bottled continental and British beers and ciders and a wide selection of malt whiskies and wines. A free Wifi service has recently [2017] been made available to customers. The smoking area is covered and heated. Trains to Brigg only run on weekdays, one train per day in each direction.
