Two Grade II listed, 17th century cottages have been made into a small pub, hence the name. Ring the bell on the right hand door to be admitted, and leave by the other. A door at the rear leads to an unexpected garden. A window seat looks onto the High Street; another seating area faces the fire. Simple hot food may be served on Sunday lunchtimes. Beers are from all over the country; real cider may be available occasionally.
