A Secret Dining Company pub who also operate The Exeter Arms in Derby, The Devonshire in Belper and The Crossing in Burton, it has warm and friendly staff and an extensive menu. It is adjacent to St Marys and All Saints church, otherwise known as the Crooked Spire, and to the town’s tourist information centre. The decor is traditional and there is plenty of seating. Five regularly rotating cask offerings usually include Dancing Duck ales. Two ciders are also available.
